Very nice stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great except for Taxis - not all knew where to go and parts of the street the hotel lies on is only one way and does not allow cars during the day. My husband and I really liked our room - but my inlaws were unhappy as their room was much smaller than ours and they had a hard time fitting their luggage in there. Very charming and very central in a great part of town.

Great location, but some noice
The hotel is in a busy tourist street and you must expect some late night noice from the street. A near by church bell sounding every quarter can also be disturbing.

Very nice hotel for a short stay
I stayed at the Lord Nelson Hotel only for one night, and I loved it! The location at the centre of Old Town is perfect for a tourist. All rooms are beatifully designed as cabins of a ship. Staff is friendly, sevice is excellent. I could even borrow a European electricity outlet transformer for my British laptop. Only problem the room was very small - not for a long stay or stay for a family with children.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
I recommend to buy a Stockholm Day Pass that gives you free access to all museums, public transportation, one free trip on the boat and discounts for other excursions. And don’t forget that National and other art museums are closed on Monday.
