Perfect in Beautiful Red Rock Country

Wildflower Inn was fantastic they made allowance for my early morning arrival so I was able to get my key and get into my room. The room was fantastic, beds were very comfortable, very clean room in great condition. Refrigerator always a must, nice big flat screen TV, plenty of space, staff were very friendly and helpful and the location and views from the parking lot were awesome. Great motel.

Nice

Nice place with a good view in the morning. Helpful staff. Having to drive outside Sedona proper was not a problem.

Great hotel... great price

This was a very nice place. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. They have hot water and tea bags in the lobby during business hours, and a nice continental breakfast. The heat in the hotel seemed to be broken one night and it got hot, but I put the fan on and it was fine. I had a jacuzzi room, and it was a very comfortable room with a nice comfy bed. Overall, just a nice place and a great value.

There’s a mini-fridge in the room if you want to bring food items.

Stay here each time we visit Sedona

The hotel is located not far from uptown Sedona and we stay here each time we visit Sedona. The newly remodel from our last visit was really nice. The room was clean and updated and the staff very friendly.

Good for the price

The bathroom had some sort of mold and wall was cracked a bit. Other than that, the room was pretty good. The breakfast offered was pretty weak compared to others in the same price range or cheaper. It is in Oak Creek with beautiful views of Bell Rock from the front office while eating in the morning. It was nice to be a bit out of Sedona as well...

Check out the ruins. Off the beaten path and beautiful views. Also interesting to learn about the Native culture at that time.

Nice view - but away from downtown Sedona (which can be nice most of the time)

Has a great view of Bell Rock and other sites. Away from the "hubbub" of the downtown city noise and lights. But easy access to attractions and the highway. Friendly service, very informative staff. Difficult to get the air at a comfortable temperature, but no complaints.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Try to get a room facing Bell Rock!

Web site does not match the real thing...

The general appearance when we first arrived was not what we expected. Tall weeds growing everywhere in the parking lot was the first sign. The manager/owner which was a woman was not people friendly upon arrival but the manager on nights was very nice and helpful. The air conditioner only worked from time to time and was very noisy. Our sheets were never changed during our stay. My wife always puts a small mark on the sheets with an eyebrow pencil and checks after a room cleaning.

Traveller's tip on dining

Our first dining experience was not what we expected at all. The Oaxaca resturant has a beautiful web site and a vertuial tour but this was also very misleading. The place was very dirty, trash and food under the tables. We also had a chance to look into the kitchen and wish that did not happen.. It was as dirty as the restrooms... All other eating establishments during our stay were great and service was quick and friendly.

An OK place to stay

The Hotel location was good if you enjoy hiking and visiting the vortexes. Heavy road construction made getting to the "main downtown" a long trip. The room was clean and the towels were good! Bathroom had an unusual odor that was difficult to stand at times. Leaving the bathroom fan on while we were out of the room was helpful. We stayed in the King Jacuzzi suite. Not really a "suite", the tub just took up part of the room, but was actually quite enjoyable after a day out and about. Close enough to walk to some restaurants but definitely not part of the main part of town. Desk service was friendly and helpful, especially the evening staff!

Traveller's tip on dining

The Wildflower Bread Company is an awesome place for food. Yummy! and very reasonable! (no wine or beer, but definitely a find!) We also enjoyed the Safari Jeep tour, Bru was an awesome guide!

Great hotel near Sedona

We had a great time during this trip. The hotel is located only about 6 miles from Old Town Sedona and the upper floor rooms have a great view of the red rock formations. Also, the hotel is just across the street from a great hiking trail. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The hotel personnel was quite helpful and accomodating. We would definitely stay at this hotel in our next trip to Sedona.

Great Hotel

The staff was great and very helpful with what to see and do. They offered the best continental breakfast that we ever had! Our room was very cozy and clean. I actually took a bath, thats how clean. The area was nice and quiet. The drive to uptown Sedona was just 10-15 min., lots of construction at the time. Bell Rock is right out your hotel door!

Thumbs up!!!

I have had the good fortune of traveling a lot in the US....so I have stayed at many hotels. I have stayed at 1 to 5 star hotels and as long as you think of this as a hotel and not a resort you should enjoy your room. If I were going on a trip that meant I would be lingering in my room for hours or days then I would probably chose a nice bed and breakfast...but when we go to Sedona we plan on being outside alot and taking in the sights and shops and so on. The hotel has a wonderful view off the top balcony and I would recommend you request a location near there if possible. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Sedona but still close to shopping and reseraunts in it’s own neighborhood. A nice little outlet mall is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff was nice, the rooms were comfortable and clean and most of all the beds were comfortable. Enjoy your stay. I would rate the hotel a 2.5 on a scale from 1-5. The price was great and I would definetly stay there again.

Traveller's tip on recreational activities

I absalutely love Pink Jeep Tours.

Comfortable and Convenient

This was pleasant small motel, conveniently located a few miles from the center of Sedona. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Traveller's tip

The Sedona area recently did major road upgrades and installed a lot of traffic circles. If you are not used to traffic circles, just slow down and be aware.

Pleasant, quiet location

Sedona is a wonderful place to relax and this hotel is perfect if you plan to sight see and travel around exploreing the vortexes. It is in the village near Sedona and is not as heavily populated...so you get a break from the traffic and tourists. There are several small restaurants within walking distance and it is close to everything. The staff is very friendly and the room was comfortable and very scenic. Bell rock is practically right out the window.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Stay here so you don’t get caught in Sedona traffic or road construction. Eat at the Tai and Chinese restaurants around the back of the hotel. Drive less than a 1/4 mile to Bell rock for a hike and the shopping outlet mall is very close.

Great views ruined by a horrible motel

If you want to fully enjoy your vacation in Sedona do not stay at the at the Wildflower inn. My stay here was a horrible experience from the minute I walked into my room. There was no mirror other than the tiny broken pieces throughout the room. No towels and the rooms smelled like mildew. This room was fit to have anyone stay in it. Very very dissatisfied.

Nice Place

The staff was so nice, friendly and helpfull. The continetal breakfast was great. Looked as though they were remolding a bit, but nothing that got in the way of your stay. Anything you would need was there ice, soda machine, laundry. The online describtion of the room was a little off there was no jetted tub, and it failed to mention that the sofa sleeper was a twin not a queen. Other than that all was correct.

A very pleasant stay

We stayed only for one night and it was very comfortable. If you looking for other amenities like tennis courts or pool, this is not the place. We were there to enjoy the natural beauty of Sedona and it was perfect for that. The view was fantasic and for the price it was outstanding.

Good stay

Our stay was great. This hotel has a beautiful view. The staff was able to help us with all of our needs. We enjoyed being a few minutes away from Sedona and the noise. It was great.
