Very Friendly, Clean, Close to Museum and Market
I was very impressed with the staff at the hotel. They were very helpful in directing me to local attractions as well as directions to other sites on the island. The food was excellent and the service was quite good.

Look beneath the veneer
The reception area at the Aquila Atlantis is clean and well presented but sadly the further you go into the hotel the lower the standard slips. Our room - sea view - was shabby, headboard worn, the plastic on the desk chair was ripped, a double room with only one easy chair, the door to the bathroom looked as though it came from a different hotel. Certainly not the standard you expect in an establishment claiming to be 5 star. Service was, at best, surly. The lifts were scratched and damaged and the stair carpet was dirty. Breakfast was good but, again, service was poor. A great disappointment.

You cant sell it as a five star. Rooms stinky and sheets itchy.
