price to park?
the hotel was nice but I did not like the fact that I had to pay to park my car in the hotels parking lot

Filled with caring staff
Staff were all very helpful, courteous, and pleasant. Got a free breakfast for being patient at check-in when it was obviously busy. Within three blocks of the tram which took me to downtown area easily, then a four or so block walk to the convention center - easy to do. View from the top floor was very nice and Pizza Hut at the other end of the parking lot had a great small pizza to go for dinner. Could sell some fresh fruit in the tiny shop - healthy night food is missing. Room service is comfort food style, fried or with cheese.
Houston International Quilt Festival is fabulous with three days worth of viewing quilts and lots of shopping.

Great hotel for the price!
The hotel was great! I was greeted upon entering and the check-in went very smoothly. My hotel room was comfy and I had no problems with it. If you exercise and want to use the exercise room to avoid the humidity in the area, be prepared for exercise equipment that’s old, rusty, and a bit dirty. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again if I need to!

The metro rail system is within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel also offers a shuttle system to the medical center area. Ask the friendly front desk for directions and help.
