Good example of a clean friendly hotel
Recently stayed at this hotel on a business trip for three nights and found it to be excellent. good clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good food. My only criticism is not of the hotel itself but that it is a little isolated and a taxi is needed to get just about everywhere, and as i found out German taxis are very expensive.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Go into Munich and visit the Hofbrauhaus for a great evening of Bavarian food, drink and culture.

Friendly staff, functional hotel
We stayed in this hotel during Oktoberfest. It was overpriced, presumably because of the Fest, but it was the only place we could find a room at a price we were prepared to pay. It is a functional hotel, catering mainly to visitors to the nearby exhibition center (Messe). The young staff were very friendly and helpful. They were the best thing about the hotel. The bathroom sink was clogged, and front-desk staff sent a plumber to repair it immediately. We would not recommend it for regular tourists as we spent much of our time traveling back and forth on the S-bahn to the city center.

Nice hotel in quaint neighbourhood...
The hotel was about a 8-10 minute walk from the train station and it took about 15-20 minutes to arrive in downtown Munich. Very good value for money. The staff even provided us with an umbrella to borrow for the day. Only downside was that we were not in the downtown core and they were doing renovations directly above our room that started around 8 or 8:30am which is early for someone trying to catch up on sleep. However, the hotel staff arranged for the renovations to start later the rest of our stay.
