High design
A recent makeover makes this a comfortable and interesting place to stay. Modern features are overlaid on the otherwise boxy 60s (50s?) layout. It’s slightly off the main drag and probably a bit cheaper for it, but Berlin in general is well supplied with taxis and they are pretty reasonable. A good choice if you need to be in this part of town (west of the centre).
Traveller's tip for business travellers
If you’re heading for Berlin, it’s best to fly into Tegel airport - only a 16 euro cab ride to the Hotel Berlin.
