Impressive by all standards
This hotel is excellent and we will definately go back. Good location, 10 mins walk from Central Station and 10 mins walk to Dam Square. The room was modern with good lighting (ladies take note!), the bed luxuriously comfortable and the bathroom excellent. We stayed on a room only basis as we didnt want to be tied to breakfast but that didnt stop you taking it if you wished. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms but drinks are available free of charge in the lobby at breakfast time, which we werent told about at check-in, this is our only complaint. The staff were cheerful and helpful and the hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere - could not fault it!

A fine place to stay
The Renaissance hotel- excellent location in Amsterdam, very helpful staff, room very comfortable and clean, breakfast best i have come across yet, the only thing that i feel lets this hotel down was the noise i could hear going on in the middle of the night, both nights i stayed, i could of just been unlucky with other guests of this hotel has not been sound proof / insulated particularly well, other than that stay there its worth it.
