I will only stay at this Hotel in the future.
I had nothing but positive experiences with Hotel Napoleon. The food was great, the room was the right size for a solo traveler. The Concierges on both shifts were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the Hotel is right in front of the subway station and you are one stop from the Termini train station putting you about ten minutes from any major site in Rome. You can buy your subway / train / bus tickets from the Concierge. The Concierge will book any tours and assist in any way he can. The room had its own air conditioner. The LCD TV had one channel in English (BBC World News), but no one visits Rome to watch TV.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Purchase a Roma Pass from the tabacchi shop at FCO. Book Borghese Gallery early. Visit St. Peters early. Purchase Rick Steves Rome guide as soon as you decide to visit Rome.
