Friendly staff, room and facilities adequate
Stayed two nights with our kids in a family room. An initial mix up with our booking was quickly rectified by polite and helpful staff. Parts of the hotel seemed a bit ’tired’ and in need of refreshing but overall the facilities were adequate and we found it a friendly place to stay.

Never again!
We chose this hotel primarily because it had a restaurant. However they only appear to open the restaurant if they feel like it - and even then it is a choice of only two dishes! It wasn’t open at all during our stay. There is not a menu. It is a 30 euro return trip into Poitiers to another restaurant which we did each night and this added a lot to the cost! They will serve you food in your room (again no menu)but will add 25% to the cost for this. And, if you want a drink at the bar then be prepared for a long wait! They are short staffed and only if the receptionist is not busy will you be able to get a drink. We were twice told to come back in 10 minutes and, given that the hotel was almost empty (not surprisingly) I dread to think what would happen if it was busy! We booked 4 nights but ended up only staying 3 because we couldn’t stand it any longer. The hotel is dowdy and none of the staff speak english.
