Great place!

This hotel is very good! It’s location is right in the beginning of O’Connell street where the shopping and lots of pubs are. It is just a short walk to the Temple Bar area and other areas around to see the sights. It is right next to the bus stops for the hop on/ off buses that run in Dublin. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous to us tourists (and our dumb questions). Couldn’t have asked for a better place! If you are looking for a hotel in Dublin’s city centre - you found the place!

Definately walk down Henry Street...great shops and music!

Cassidy’s Hotel

Doesn’t look much from the outside but very nice inside. Staff very helpful. Nice bar. Room was fine and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was a buffet with everything you could want and as much as you want. A good option because prices in Dublin are very high. Hotel is very near to the start of the hop-on-hop-off bus tour but it is a little further to walk to the Temple Bar area and Grafton Street area - about 10 mins walk. However, walking down O’Connell Street is site seeing in itself with the massive Spire and the GPO. Restaurant menu looked good too although we didn’t end up eating there.

The hop-on-hop-off bus is well worth the money if you are not in Dublin long. Not all of them have a "live" commentary - try and go on one that does because they are very interesting and very funny. The Guiness Factory is a bit boring because you don’t actually see any of the factory it is mainly words, pictures, film and a bit of machinary. And of course free Guiness!

Excellent location

Hotel location was excellent, convenient to shops, restaurants, bus lines, easy to get around. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Generous size rooms. Would stay there again if returning to Dublin.
