Beautiful setting, great staff
For what it offers, the Ramada Inn in Hendricks, Michigan was a great place to stay. The staff were very supportive and helpful. I went there in the Fall, the Ramada is in a beautiful setting. It can be pretty noisy on a Saturday evening, but things quited down after midnight. I would recommend it to others who want a place to stay while they explore the upper pa. It was the one place I stayed in a week of travel that was worth the money.
If you have a choice, go in the Fall or WInter, it is a beautiful place.

Surprising Nice!!
The hotel was amazing!! It had a nice pool area and hot tub, its own bar with live music, continental breakfast and the rooms were very luxurious. The service was great and we had a problem with our card reader on our door and the manager herself helped us out.

Coming over the bridge from Houghton to Hancock you will see the sign for the Hotel on your left. You will want to stay in the right lane in order to get there.

Excellent choice
The hotel was everything we expected and more. The location was ideal and it was so warm and welcoming . The lounge and restaurant were wonderful and they made great use of the waterfront view. The food was delicious .The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Ramada to anyone.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
It was delightful to go back to the hotel and sit inside or out on the patio and watch the water and the Lift Bridge. Have a cocktail or eat your dinner. The view from the waterside rooms was lovely . All this going on and yet it was one of the most quiet hotels we have been in.
