Loving Oslo from the Thon Vika Atrium
Aker Brygge is definitely *the* place you want to stay in Oslo. The Thon Vika Atrium is located inside an office complex, but is plenty private and kept aware from the Monday morning meeting crowd. They have a cute children’s play area, an excellent free breakfast, and free wireless internet (ask for cards at check-in). Their staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
So many wonderful things to do in Oslo and staying at the Thon Vika Atrium puts you in a prime location for the city’s best museums, restaurants, and shops!

Hotel located in business complex and it feels boring when entering. The rooms are small but clean. Plus for the wireless internet connection.

functional, reasonable hotel in expensive city
Typcial Euro hotel, clean and comfortable. I was there over New Years for both business and leisure, and this hotel was both quiet and functional for my stay. Typical Scandinavian smorgåsbord breakfast provided in the morning at good times allowing you to sleep in. Internet access free in the lobby or via WiFi in the room for $10 charge for 12 hours. This was the only drawback as I would have liked for a 24 hour rate each time. Wonderful location near Aker Brygge and not far from Karl Johan. 2 nearby Trykk (street car) stops with easy access to the train station.
