excellent value, great location
This is an excellent hotel for the price we paid - much cheaper than most but still maintaining good service and cleanliness etc. The reception staff were very helpful and professional. It’s location is fab! 5-7 mins walk to central places eg City Hall, Parliament, National Theatre and a few mins more to Palace and Central Station. Very quiet location on side street. It has been refurbished recently so rooms were good sized, clean, modern and stylish. Bathroom had been modernised but not as recent as rest of room but the underfloor heating in bathroom made it so cosy on our cold and very wet stay in Oslo. It is classed as a budget hotel but it was def’ better than most budget ones I’ve stayed in. The "all you can eat" buffet breakfast at 65 kr was excellent with lots of choice and variety. Free internet and coffee in reception. I would def’ return to this hotel!
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Buy the Oslo card if visiting several museums & using transport - you will save a lot on entrance/bus/metro fees. It also gives you approx half price on local train fare Gardemoen airport to central station. City Hall is a must visit (take the free tour to get the whole picture on the wall murals!)

Good Cheap Hotel
I had a single room and chose this hotel largely because it was the cheapest I could find at short notice. I was pleasantly surprised; the room was well maintained, clean and had everything I needed. Reception staff were helpful and free internet was available by the check-in desk. The location was excellent and was only 5-10 minutes walk away from the water front, the train station and the metro lines.
The Vigeland Statue park is amazing. I went a sunset and I wish i’d allocated more time to look at the sculptures in more detail. The portrayel of a whole range of very human emotions is clearly executed often in an endearing manner (especially with statues of children)

Good Location, Helpful Staff
My friends and I found this hotel to be completely satisfactory. Both rooms were fine. Nice central location. Oslo and Norway are expensive, so this "budget" hotel was a good find. Breakfast, not included in our room rate, was quite good.
