Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel.Beautiful location.Lovely, large, and very comfortable room. We enjoyed the swimming pool/jacuzzi facilities. The food was very good at both dinner and breakfast and the conservatory bistro was lovely, (although we do agree that the waiting staff need more training.) The reception staff were so helpful particularly when sorting out an error which we had made in the booking. Cant praise the hotel enough.

Great Location
What a terrific location! - if you get good weather the views from the terrace are just idyllic. All in, hotel was good value. The staff were friendly and attentive and the Spa facilities were great. We used the informal dining option most of our 5 night stay and were pleased with overall attention, though meal was very slow in arriving one night. It is worth checking your bill as we had to question it on occasions! We preferred to pay for our meals/drinks at end of each evening and it was often wrong. System where it is paid at reception needs to be looked at as receptionist is unaware of customers choices. However all queries were dealt with courteously and to our satisfaction.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Visits to nearby Fort George, Culloden Moor and Cawdor Castle are well worth taking.

We will be Back!
We has a two night stay and almost booked an additional night while we were there it was so good! The staff were local, professional and friendly. The position of the hotel was excellent and even on a windy day it was great to look over the Moray Firth and watch the sea. We ate in the conservatary which has I would say was more informal dining -the food was of a very high quality and we noticed the hotel has a 2009 Michelin recommended eating sticker on the door. We cant wait to go back and just relax. The room we had didnt have a sea view but it was huge and very comfy.
