Very pleasant stay
This hotel has a good location near the central station and provided me with a very comfortable stay. The room was very large. The breakfast was particularly good for a hotel in its class. The only problem I had was getting hot water in the bathroom - in the morning it was fine, but it the evening I had to run the hot tap for ages before it became warm.
To reach Antwerpen from Brussels airport get the bus - it runs hourly, costs 10 euro and is much quicker than the train where you have to travel into Brussels and then out again.

Huge Room
Friendly staff on reception. Good size bedroom (I’ve seen 5-a-side football pitches smaller). Booked in advance it was an excellent deal including buffet breakfast. Location good if you travelling by train to Antwerp Centraal, or flying into or from Antwerp Airport. Old town is 15 minutes walk away. Buffet breakfast was cold meats, breads, fruit, cereal and yoghurts. Plus hot options were: Day One: - Small sausages, scrambled eggs & Potato swirls. Day Two (not as good, alas) : - Scrambled & Boiled Eggs, bean sprouts with cucumber. Not a mega luxurious place, but good for a bargain break.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Even if you’re not travelling by train, visit Antwerp Central station. It’s got a magnificent entrance hall.

Fine for a short stay
Hotel is close to station and in a seemingly safe part of town. My room was clean and the bed comfortable. Shower was poor-head did not stay up- and hot water was a bit intermittent. The public areas are functional but very tired.To me it was a clean 2 star, but not a four star. personnel were friendly and breakfast was fine.
