Room 111
My wife and I stayed in Room 111 for 4 nights. The first two nights were very satisfactory but the last two (Friday and Saturday) were disturbed by loud disco music that took place from approximately 9pm to midnight each night. The music was associated with functions that were taking place in the hotel and, whilst it is appreciated that hotels have to generate income in any way that they can, we would have preferred not to have had to put up with the noise and the inconvenience that it caused. The Receptionist should have warned us when we checked in that some functions were due to take place and that there might be some disturbance from music that was to be played. This would have given us the opportunity then to ensure that the room that we were allocated was as far as possible from the source of the music. In the event it was very nearly right above the Functions that were taking place. The hotel is a high quality establishment. This was reflected (mostly) in the service that we received and the quality of the food that was served. Our stay there was not good value for money bearing in mind the disturbance that we suffered, though.

Best in town
This must surely be the best hotel in Llandudno, and the service and quality of accomodation reflected that. The carpark was too small for all the cars but we could double park and hand in our car keys, and the staff sorted it out from there on - a very good service. Restaurant menu had a good mix of modern and traditional, but vegetarian aubergine option not too good. Fantastic breakfast buffet.
Traveller's tip on dining
The top end (Great Orme side)of Mostyn Street is where we found restaurants and nightlife. We ate at a Middle Eastern restaurant called Parrs, which was excellent. Great menu and very tasty dishes.
