Need to save up again
The Grand is not so grand at the moment with scaffolding and building work being carried out. 8.00 Early morning call by the drilling and hammering by the workmen. Did not get the room we booked as they said it was only a request from Expedia when Twins and doubles were listed seperatly and we booked a double. Very expensive for basic room. Nice breakfast and some of the staff were helpfull.
Traveller's tip
We stayed at the Mornington and the First-G in Gothenburg the same week and they were far superior and half the price.

Charming, elegant old hotel with great service
We loved this historical old hotel in Lund in the center of town, across from the train station. The staff, rooms, and continental breakfast were wonderful!
