The service from the staff was impeccable! Front door, waiters, waitresses .. everything. The rooms were awesome. the close proximity to nightlife was an added bonus! I couldn’t possibly stay anywhere else in stockholm!

an excellent hotel
The Berns is ideally placed for a city break, we could walk to all the main sights of the city.
Walk into the Gamla Stan (the old town) there are some excellent restaurants.

Great location, tiny room
Postitives: The hotel service was excellent - friendly staff gave us a room with a balcony and had it ready for a very early check in. The location is also great, but Stockholm isn’t a difficult city to get around. Negatives: The standard rooms are as tiny as other reviews have suggested and have more of a business than a boutique feel. The room was clean but needs updating (old shower curtain and slightly weird smell in the bathroom, CD player rather than an iPod docking station). Not bad, but could probably get better value for money and more breathing space elsewhere.
