Very Friendly Staff and Service
We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent for walking through the town of Portsmouth. We had a double room. The room was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, but the bathroom needed updating. We just stayed two nights for a weekend getaway, and I would stay there again. There is parking. If you are a handicap driver, the spaces are limited. As far as value, I think it’s a little overpriced, but the location and convenience make it worth it.

Not as Pet Friendly as they claim
I was very upset to find out that once we arrived with our dog, we were not allowed to leave her in the room unattended. Meaning, if you wanted to go anywhere as a family or group, your pet had to come with you. Made it difficult and should of been explained when booking. I cancelled my 2nd night and went to Homewood Suites...It was worth the 100.00 pet deposit (nonrefundable) to be able to leave her there if we needed to.
