Very good accommodations and all staff were courteous and helpful. My wife needed handicap assistance and was very satisfied.

Fair At Best

This is a very mediocre hotel at best. Loby and entrance look ok but halways and rooms are in rough shape. Room was very tired looking at not very appealing. But the worst was the king bed we had. The matress was terrible and blew my back out. We actually had to leave a day early from Hershey because I was hurting and couldn’t bear another night in that bed.On the plus side,the free breakfast buffet was nice in the morning and more than enough to eat. The Irish restaurant attached to the hotel is great also.We ate dinner there and it was well above average.I would not stay here again due to the rough room and terrible bed.Expedia was very helpful when it came to refunding my money for the night we did not stay. The staff at the front desk was definitely not going to give me my money back but one call to Expedia straightened that out.Unless this is the only place available look elsewhere.

The hotel common areas definitely need an overhaul (i.e. carpet throughout the hallway was awful). Continental breakfast service was mediocre and not very well laid out. But, the most important factor was the cleanliness and comfort of the room and I give that a two thumbs up! Front desk staff was also very pleasant and helpful.

Not impressed

expected better from a "Sheraton. the public carpets are old and dingy, and the rooms drab.

Not too bad for the price

The rooms are very clean and spacious. This is acually our third stay there at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast arrangement were kind of confusing as for the buffet breakfast..you need to pay. However, ppl at the complimentary section still went down to get the food from the buffet area. And the pool was very dirty this time around..that was kind of disappointing because that was the main reason we went back..But overall, the stay was very comfortable..

Caters to large groups

We arrived and were asked if we were part of the basketball team that was staying at the hotel. We found out that there was a large tournament and there were MANY children around the hotel. We have children, so it wasn’t a huge problem, but at the buffet breakfast each morning there were no places to sit and lines of people waiting for food to be refilled. At night we heard kids running up and down the hallway. On our second night we returned to our room at about 4 pm and our room had not been cleaned. We found out that 2 maids had quit that day and they assured us that the room would be cleaned at some point, which it finally was. Another problem- supplies were not replenished throughout our stay- toilet paper, coffee etc... When we called guest services no one ever picked up the phone. The tub was very slow to drain. The second to last day a huge group (family reunion) were checking in. We would not stay at this hotel again.

We choose this hotel thinking that it would be a good choice for visiting Hershey Park. I would definitely choose a hotel a bit closer to the park if you are planning on going to the park for more then one day.

The first night our room was over the lobby, which was noisy until around 1 a.m. We called the front desk and were told they were trying to get the kids in their rooms. When we went down to the front desk in the morning we asked for a room change the next night in a quieter location. They did accomodate us and gave us a voucher for a free breakfast. Overall the hotel was nice and I would stay again, but ask for a room not over the lobby.

Wonderfull

The breakfast was 10$ a person but it included evety thing in the buffet which consisted of fresh fruit, hot waffles, bagle’s with a toaster, an omlett made in front of you from a chef that included ham suasage or chicken. It also incuded yogurt and your drinks. Considering you would have spent the same amount of money going to a biffet at a local resraunt it was clearly a value. The woman at the front desk was extremly helpfull. The hotel was clean and the lobby smelled like cinnamon and was very welcoming.

Met Expectations

I was in town for two nights and one day. The hotel was quiet and out of the way from the hustle and bustle of traffic. Everything was clean and the front desk person was helpful when I needed information or assistance. The hotel has a really nice swimming pool, which I took advantage of in the afternoon. Nobody else was using it. There is also a nice work out room with a variety of nautilus weight machines and treadmills, bikes, etc. Overall a great hotel!

Excellent Accommodations

Very nice hotel. Many conveniences including onsite restaurant, bar and hotel lounge. Staff was very pleasant.

really liked this hotel, it deserves more than a 2 star rating, rooms and beds are lovely, great family hotel, the pool is nice indoors, the had a free disco and burgers for the kids the weekend we where there. The hotel staff are nice and the bar at the side of the hotel is great, good food reasonable price. The hotel does a breakfast in the morning which is well catered for every taste. Central location, easy to find hotel 15 min drive from hershey

Needs serious upgrade

The hotel suffers from high traffic use and is in need of an upgrade. The rooms,bathrooms, hallways are in need of some serious attention. The sheets on our beds did not fit. The air conditioning unit in the room ran all the time but was inable to cool the room. the bathroom toilet was clogged before use...

Great Place if Visiting Hershey Park

Great hotel, nice, clean, friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. Rooms have microwave, frige and coffee makes which is always a plus. Have a good breakfast buffet, cold for $7 or hot buffet for $9. Pub is fun too, good food and atmosphere. Great place to stay if you are visiting Hershey Park. Only ten minutes away down 1 main road.

Pay the few extra bucks to stay here if you have a family and are visiting hershey park. Its worth it

Exceed my expectation

This was a great hotel for the price. Very close to Hershey and has lots of choices of food up and down the road from the hotel. The indoor pool was a nice size and my kids did not want to leave. Hershey park is an annual trip we take as a family, been to other hotels in the area that were worse, can not wait to come back next year.

Bad Hotel

We stayed here on our way home from Niagara Falls, we arrived there almost midnite, and there is only 1 person in the front desk while there are some people waiting in line (including a group of flights attendants). We have to wait quite a while before can get into our rooms. One of the room (the one I got) was not cleaned! The bed and bathroom was been used by other person, i tried to call the front desk but nobody answer the phone. I decided to go downstairs to make a complain and met a guest who has to go to the front desk to ask for a clean towel! Later i was assigned a new room which is quite satisfactory but I was already in a bad mood mostly because I’m very tired and sleepy.

Overall, we liked this hotel. Bar had great beers on tap and we enjoyed our meal. Hershey was about 20 minutes away, a quick ride with the help of a GPS. Would not recommend this hotel if you are in a hurry or a rush - they take their time, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. They ran out of pancakes at breafast and it took awhile before fresh ones were made. I could definately see how some might be annoyed with slow service (ie breakfast and eating a meal in the bar), but I was on vacation so it didn’t bother me. Pool was nice to have, kids loved it. Thought place looked good overall too, but carpets needed to be cleaned and ceramic tile border of pool needed to be cleaned as well. It was obvious that the floors of the stairwells hadn’t been cleaned in some time - they need a thorough scrubbing. Pillows on the bed were VERY uncomfortable!! But, otherwise, room was clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

hotel staff was friendly at the front desk. our request for a crib for our 5-month old baby was promptly accommodated. hotel maintenance came to our room right away to fix a busted light bulb. room was spacious & clean. bathroom was of average size but clean. would definitely come back to this hotel for another family trip to Hershey.

very comfortable

When I stay at a Motel, Hotel, Inn , Etc., I usually don’t use the pool, exercise room etc. All I want is a clean room, comfortable bed and a good tub and shower

One of the best

I travel to Harrisburg a number of times a year and FINALLY found a place where I will always return to. My room (King - non-smoke) was quite roomy and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful with driving directions to my meeting location in town. For a relatively small market city this hotel was excellent

Good Hotel.

Hotel was nice, kids loved the pool. Convienent location. Easy on and easy off hightway.
