Great stay at the Lindner
We stayed at the Lindner in September and very much enjoyed the experience. We cannot fault it in any way. Bad Aibling itself is a very pretty town which exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful in an old fashioned way , the rooms were lovely & the bathrooms were particularly nice.The family who own it are refined ,dignified and friendly people who were very helpful. A spa /therme in the town was due to open the week after we arrived . This looked particularly fab but unfortunately we had to leave before it opened. The restaurant is also very good and we ate in it both nights of our stay. What we liked as well was the availability of single rooms for my Dad who accompanied us without the typical UK single supplement type price. Overall , great place and just to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay we tried to book it again for New Year but obviously left it too late as fully booked.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are quite a few restaurants in the town . We liked the look of a Greek Bar/Restaurant just up the road from the hotel. Had a drink in there /seemed very popular .
