good place

Most of the people were extremely helpful. We had a busload of kids that either the coach or the kids banged the doors all night by leaving the security latch open and not holding the door to keep it from banging all night and in the early morning. The maid was inconsiderate as I told her we wouldn’t be checking out until close to check out and she continued to knock on the door every 15 minutes. People at the desk were wonderful and the breakfast was good with someone available to explain the waffle iron. Still a good place to stay.

Rapid City has good shopping, great events center with a lot of activities, you can make your stay as expensive or cheap as you want. A few more outdoor activities in the summer, but many inside events at the civic center in the winter.

Good quiet place to stay.

Easy access to shopping and main thoroughfares. Far enough off I-90 and main highway to be quiet but still easy to get to. Would stay again. Newly remodeled 08-2009.

Very Nice Place...But....

This place was great, our room looked like it was just re-designed with new linens and wall art. We had traveled all week, and the bed was the best of all the hotels we were in. The only bad thing was the front desk seemed understaffed, we had to wait over 20 min to check in. The pool was great, waterslide too...but was not stocked with towels. Again, at the front desk there was a long wait to get some towels.

Make sure you have towels set aside for your family in the pool area before you jump in. Standing dripping wet waiting for the front desk guy to free up is not the highlight of our vac.
