Hmm, room for improvement...
Id recommend this hotel purely for reasons of location. Ideal spot for all things Liverpool. Room had lovely view of Albert Dock, which was across the road. Hotel bar/restaurant very presentable but menu very hit and miss. Breakfast definitely NOT worth the price (especially if youre a veggie) No room service. Room functional (no frills) although very clean. Definitely budget variety but not budget rates! Make sure you take some biscuits - none provided. No Sky just cable and no radio. Despite the above the location helped win us over.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Beatles museum is a must - very interesting. A trip on a sightseeing bus is a great, inexpensive way to spend time and learn something of Liverpool history - a very interesting city. Albert Dock great for shopping, art, food. Liverpool city centre great for shopping, too. Mathew Street a good night out for young uns but there are a few pubs for us not so young but young at heart. Plenty of cafe/bars. Loads to do and see. Definitely worthy of more than one visit.
