Good stay for the money paid
The area was nice and was set up very well. The only slight issues that we had were with the tv. The tv’s service came in and out consistantly. We called the front desk three times and a repair guy finally came and switched out the tv the day before we left but it still didn’t work correctly. Besides that, i would recommend it.

Oak Plantation Resort in Kissimmi
I had a wonderful time at this resort. It has stores all around it, but when you enter the grounds you feel far removed and relaxed. I went there just to relax by the pools and hot tub and it was perfect for this. There are a lot of free resort activities that people should take advantage of. Movie night, bingo, there was a comedy group by the pool one night. The grounds are well cared for and wonderful to just walk around in. I had a nice one bedroom town house all to myself. The price was the same as a low motel and what you get will surprise you! There is a Walgreens across the street as well as a grocery store and 7-11. There is a nice breakfast and late night buffet at Ponderosa across the street. I did not rent a car for my stay because I just wanted to relax. I found it very easy to get what I needed by walking to stores. There were people from all over the world staying here and everyone seemed pleasantly surprised. The children staying here seemed very happy after their busy days. The cable T.V. has many stations to choose from and they have video rentals at the front office. There is a game room and exercise area and a little store on the grounds that is not so expensive. Every morning there is a breakfast buffet for $6 that is more than enough to get your day started. I HIGHLY recommend this resort!
