My Favorite Hotel in Manila
This is definitely my favorite hotel in Manila. I work in call centers, so sleep during the day is very important to me. The Bedroom Suite is off the main living quarters - which makes it quiet. They have a great gym and excellent food in the hotel. I highly recommend Discovery Suites.

Great hotel with friendly staff
We booked a junior suite and were very comfortable. It is a long way from the airport but has great facilities very close by. There is a very large mall within 5 minutes walk away. The breakfast was good, presented well and very clean. The bar, located on the top floor was lovely. Happy hour - bottomless beer was approx. 300php, the view out of the glass sides over the city was wonderful. This was accompanied by someone playing the piano. Lots of good restaurants very close by too. Texas Roadhouse was a good choice. Nice pool area, partly covered and partly outside. The weather wasn’t very kind to us but would have made lots of use of this if it had been better.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
We stayed in this hotel before visiting Boracay but picked a different one on our return. We should have returned to the Discovery suites.

Don’t risk your life
I stayed this hotel for 2 nights. On the last day before check out, I was traped on the 21st floor in one of elevators in the hotel. I was the only person and it was really really scary. The emergency call worked and they came in 10 min to open the elevator door manually. The elevator was stuck in between 20 and 21st floor. Don’t go there if you want to risk your life.
