Great hotel, if you are driving

Great staff, great prices, good resturant in the hotel... It is on the outskirts. What you need to know is that everything in Italy is hard to get to. So, be prepared to drive or take a taxi. I like to drive, so no problem for me. The staff all spoke good English and they were very helpful. The pool was really nice (we were there in the summer). There are grocery stores within a 5 minute drive (buy water and carry it with you, 4 - 5 Euro a bottle in town) The hotel provides a free bus to take you to the bus station. Jump on a bus to get downtown (parking is nutz all over Rome and garages are expensive). I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Decent hotel for travelers using Ciampino Airport

My friend and I had a late flight into Rome. We expected to find a full service airport in Ciampino but were extremely disappointed. Transit services were so minimal that getting to downtown Rome at that hour was difficult. Fortunately, we had booked at the Best Western and were able to arrive there quickly and cheaply via taxi. The front desk staff was very helpful in accommodating our late check in request (we arrived after midnight). The rooms are very large for Europe, and clean. I would recommend to anyone catching an early or late flight out of Ciampino.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Wake up early for the hotel’s complimentary breakfast buffet..it’s not much but it’ll keep you going. Also, use the hotel van service to get to the Metro station...from there it’s only 1 Euro to Termini Station & central Rome.

Great except...

All was great except only one bus every 40 mins across street that takes you to metro station, and expensive cabs for a 1km ride.
