great mountain view
This hotel is a little old but maintains pretty good. Fall is low season,so most restaurants in hotel are closed. Luckly we found a good one in downtown Girdwood, called "Jack Sprat Restaurant". must try their yam fries. If you like skiing, this is the place to go. great for leisure travellers.

Wish I could have stayed longer!
Had to get an early start to see customers down the road, but if I had know it was such a great destination, would have allowed time for an early hike and to enjoy the mountain beauty. I’d been here many years ago for dinner (in the dard), but the hotel rooms are top notch & since you are right in the mountains, great hikes! Might have to come back when I’m back in Alaska.
If you getting a late start going down the Kenai peninsula or just need a wonderful night away, this is a great spot. Before the skiers take over, the rates are great & the hotel is beautiful. Can’t wait to go back.

A great lodge to stay
the lodge & landscaping is a beautiful place. the service was great.had no problens cshecking in or out.
