Brilliant
In fairness we got a free upgrade to a suite so everything was brilliant. Lovely hotel though, reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and didnt mind at all that we had no German whatsoever. Food was lovely and quite reasonable. Room had no window though, which I didnt like but thats only a small issue.

Great base for weekend visit to Berlin
You cant miss the Hotel as you leave the Alexanderplatz railway station (which is 25 minutes direct from Schoenfeld Airport on the Airport Express train). Its the tall square glass building. Not very pretty in a not very pretty square. However, the Hotel is of a standard that you would expect any international hotel to be and is clean and not expensive. Its the location that makes it such a good base for a weekend visit. By the railway station, next to the Subway, within walking distance of most sights and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Just what you want when time is limited.

Great Centrally Located Hotel
The hotel sits on one edge of Alexanderplatz in what was East Berlin. Good nearby access to metro and restaurants.
