Under repair
The Villa Pantheon was very conveniently located to the metro and RER, many restaurants and cafes, the Luxembourg gardens, and the Sorbonne. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms comfortable. We asked for a room on the courtyard to limit the street noise. However, we found that many people from the bar area would choose to sit in the courtyard to have drinks and smoke. Because the weather was very mild, we had the windows open day and night - but it was often very loud rather late into the night. There were also 2 items awaiting repair the week that we were there. The revolving door entrance had a broken pane of glass that resulted in closing that entrance altogether and one (or the other) of the two elevators was out of service all week.

Great location, poor hotel
tiny room, hotel needed maintenance, stingy with breakfast items, some attitude at front desk...the great location makes up for some of this...however, we would not stay there again.
Sacre Coeur Cathedral, Montmarte...beautiful views of Paris, great shopping, and near another must-see: Place du Tertre

Central and comfortable
Conveniently located 5 minutes from Notre Dame and the restaurants of the latin quarter. Room was comfortable and clean but a couple of the smaller details were missing e.g shower gel. Not very good instructions for use of the safe however, key instructions were missing which were in the other two languages. Despite the small flaws, this was a nice little a hotel.
