Good location
A well located hotel off the main square. No air conditioning but the weather was exceptional when I was there. A fan was supplied. Splendid choice of food at breakfast.

Good Hotel Overall
We had a good experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right on Turku’s main shopping street, a block or two from the city center, and still walking distance (or a very short cab ride) to the bus and train stations. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was good, filling, and Finnish. My only gripes are that the room was pretty small, smaller than I would expect for a hotel of this stature, and the twin beds in the room were not particularly comfortable. However, small room sizes are fairly standard for this city, and the amenities were otherwise good.

Best hotel on our tour of Scandinavia
We were extremely impressed with this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Excellent central location for shops, restaurants and sites. We would definitely go back.

Good location, great service, good room
Stayed one night, and it was my first time in Turku. I took the train, and walked from the train station easily. The hotel is in the middle of the shopping district and close to everything. They have bicycles to borrow, which I did... the city is easily navigated with an afternoon and a bike. There is also great bus service to the cruise ships, ferries, and any other destination around Turku about one block from the hotel. The staff was very pleasant, and everyone spoke English.

Great location, but facilities looking dated
Generally clean room but the hallways and lobby are looking dated and a little stained. Decent breakfast buffet with lots of Finnish staples (four or more types of fish for breakfast!) The gym has only two pieces of terrible cardio equipment but a very nice weights setup. More importantly, the hotel has a great location right in the middle of the main shopping area and only ~3 blocks to the river.
