reasonable convenient hotel
Travel lodge Sydney is very well situated, very comfortable and a basic hotel. It is very clean and provides adequate accomodation for the price you pay. When we arrived it was early morning - 8am - but we were not able to get to our room until 1pm even though we had advised them of our early arrival and we were very tired. We did have trouble with the lifts as you have to swipe your room card in the lift before it will work and half the time it didn`t work. Also we were never able to get a double bed it was always singles in a double room. It is a very busy hotel and as it is a 10am checkout when you leave - there is quite a queue to hand in your key. But taking all this into account I would still recommend it .

Nice hotel. Poor welcome.
Very convenient. Nice spacious room with lots of little extras - even a small carton of milk in the fridge everyday! Just a pity that reception was so offhand and unhelpful.
