Easy access to all of old Madrid
Our first time in Madrid. The hotel was difficult to find, in a narrow street just off Plaza Santa Ana. Although the reception foyer is tiny, the room itself was huge, with two balcony windows overlooking the street, lounge and separate sleeping areas, as well as a small kitchenette and bathroom,a studio apartment in fact. The air conditioning was one of the most efficient and responsive that we have found on our travels. The area is full of life in the evenings, with bars and restaurants close by, but excellent double glazing shut out any noise. We would definitely stay here again, so convenient for everything.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Plenty of cervecerias and restaurants on the doorstep, spoilt for choice! Plaza Santa Ana just round the corner, is great for relaxing, eating and watching the world go by with occasional entertainers touring the square. The Teatro Espagnol is at the end of the street, for a dose of culture.

Great sized room
We stayed here for one night. We were 4 of us including 2 kids. We reserved the family suite which turned out to be very spacious, comfortable and convenient for our needs. There is no parking at the hotel, but a public parking place is within walking distance. The prado district is nearby and the plaza santa ana is a nice place to people watch and relax with a cup of coffee.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Use the Metro system as it is very good and very reasonably priced.
