Ronda hotel in Barcelona
My friends and I booke a last minute weekend trip to Barcelona. We wanted to be not too far from the central area but were on a tight budget. We chose the Ronda hotel and although the facilities were not amazing the staff were extremly friendly and helpful in accommodating us. The hotel is walking distance from Las Ramblas and pretty much all the wonderful sites. If youre on a budget its not bad choice.

not impressed at all with this hotel
stayed here with my wife and daughter, suppose to be a 3 star hotel, more like a hostel with rooms, noisy thin walls we thought next door was in our room, basic rooms with 1 tiny window aircon not worth having on ,no remote for the tv unless you ask, and when its on its so fuzzy its not worth watching, staff are suppose to be english speaking not when i was there, one wardrobe for 3 adults with only one coat hanger, the safe you had to rent if you wanted to use it, only 1 light bulb worked on the wall lights, and bang centre of the red light district, unsafe for female travelers on their own ,id like to recommend this hotel but cannot if your really desperate then it might be your only choice ,lovely view of all the tv arials and house yards thats all you can see i wont be going there again id rather sleep on a park bench and take my chances
i wouldn,t recommend this for familys with young children be warned

Good hotel, but noisy
In general the hotel is good. Clean rooms, central location, good breakfast, at affordable rates. However, there is very little sound insulation and the sound from the hallways echoes into the rooms. With people coming and going throughout the night, this made it difficult to sleep. I complained to the lobby and found another guest with the same complaint.
