Hotel Regio - We would go back there again!

One of the most helpful aspects of this hotel is that there is a regular bus service from the hotel complex into the centre of Salamanca which means that you can leave your car and not worry about parking. It only costs 1 euro each way! The other advantage of this hotel is that it is situated on the south side of Salamanca and is on the road to Avila, a beautiful walled city which is also worth a visit. The swimming pool is an additional bonus.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

The two cathedrals are superb as is also St. Esteban’s monastery. There is also an impressive Roman bridge. The tourist information office staff near the cathedral were extremely helpful.

Excellent hotel

We have stayed at the campsite before but not at the hotel. Our one night stay was excellent, including a swim in the hotel pool, and dinner in the (now smoke free) restaurant. We will definitely stay there again!

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The bus into Salamanca goes from the hotel car park every 30 minutes, and is quite cheap.
