A quiet part of Sitges
Situation - approx. 15-20 minutes walk from centre of Sitges close to quieter beaches, so ideal for a restful holiday. Building - on 2 sites with access to annexe via steps under road or above ground. 2 pools, smaller one at annexe, both areas well maintained. Room - comfortable beds, tho’ insufficient space to open wardrobe doors fully! Shower needs thermostat to regulate temperature. Satellite was not available on TV as advertised. NB charge for room safe. Breakfast - very good buffet catering for special dietary needs, in pleasant dining area. Staff - very helpful and friendly. Very good service. Overall - a comfortable base for a beach holiday or from where to visit Barcelona, Vilanova, Tarragona by train or bus services.
Traveller's tip
Be aware that RENFE trains are not elderly- or disabled-friendly. Three steps up from the platform into the trains. I am 65 with arthritis and really struggled when travelling from Barcelona airport to Sitges with a suitcase. Sitges station has steps between platforms. On return journey to airport we took the MONBUS, half-hourly service from Sitges and a 30-minute journey.

Would stay again
Lovely hotel close to the beach and short walk to the main area of town. Room was clean and well maintained. The room had a balcony which looked over a quiet street so no problem with noise. Breakfast was adequate. Great pool/bar area.

A decent place to stay.
The staff was excellent. If you arrive late, do not expect to be able to get anything to eat. However, the staff was able to have something delivered. The breakfast selection could be better. It really is a short walk to the beach. The walk to City Center is a bit longer, but very walkable and along a beautiful promenade along the sea.
Traveller's tip
The hotel is NOT a 15 minute drive. It is more like 1 hour. If you go on a Friday night expect a lot of traffic. Even without traffic there is no way to get from the Barcelona airport to the hotel in 15 minutes.
