Loved This Hotel
We had a great stay at the Hotel Bel Ami. Staff is friendly and professional. Great location, we were able to walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Just off the Boulevard St. Germain des Pres which is one of the most beautiful streets in Paris. Convenient to Metro. Rooms are well decorated and maintained. Beware that standard rooms are small, and if that is an issue, might want to try and upgrade to a larger room. Next time in Paris, would definitely stay at the Hotel Bel Ami.

Location, and comfort!
The Bel-Ami is located about two blocks from the St. Germain des Prés Metro station, in the heart of the delightful left-bank 6th arrondissement. Many sights and delights are within easy walking distance, and the Metro opens the rest of the city to you. While the hotel itself lacks a great restaurant (but the buffet breakfast is fine), there are many, many fine restaurants and cafés nearby, including Café de Flore and Café les Deux Magots, two of the most famous in the city. The hotel has a modern flavor to its design and decoration, sleek and smooth, and the staff (fluent in English) is young, energetic, helpful, and friendly. My room was comfortable, if not luxurious, and the street was quiet at night - the hotel is across the street from an elementary school. I’d go back in a second!
