More expensive than grand.
A good hotel and I would certainly recommend it,however I think that the internet is as essntial as a bed and TV in a hotel room and this should be inclusive of the price quoted.

Reasonable hotel
Staff were very helpful and the hotel is clean if a little tired in places. Pool area is small with limited sunbeds which arent always in the sun. Worth paying a little extra for an executive room if youre planning to spend much time at the hotel during the day/early evening as hotel prices are expensive.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
Clarke Quay (20 mins), Boat Quay (30 mins) and Esplanade (35 mins) are a pleasant stroll along the Singapore River and provide much cheaper and more varied dinning and drinking options. If you cant stand the evening heat then jump in a cab for a few quid.
