Friendly and Helpful
The receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to and from Union Station ran on schedule and was most convenient. The additional bus service provided by the hotel to any location in DC was an additional plus. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and offered variety in choices.

A pleasant surprise
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, and what a great hotel it is. In a gated campus, very easy to find. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were big, clean and very comfortable. The restroom was the same, big, clean and plenty of towels. This hotel is a short walk (5 mins) from the subway and after a short ride you are in the heart of Washington. Great value and highly recommended.

Excellent value for money
The hotel is on the university campus. We did not know that the university is world famous for its education of the hearing- and speech impaired students, so the silence together with the sign language came as a sudden surprise. The university provides a shuttle service to Union station (10 mins) at 20 min intervals. Great service. Breakfast was simple but OK. Strongly recommended
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Library of congress: amazing and unexpected. Arlington cemetery: a shock when we were passed by a horse drawn carriage with a coffin on it. Afghanistan came very close
