Wifi and shuttle

I recommend this hotel for what it is: an airport hotel. The restaurant had a good menu and good food. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked appealing--whether hot, cold or clean, I couldn’t say as it’s outside and it was a rainy night when I got there. The free in-room wifi is a definite plus and worked well--and this that I was what seemed miles from the reception area. The shuttle to the airport is also free, and operated on schedule and without fuss. The neighborhood is quite dark and might be scary if one is unfamiliar with Mexico; however, there was lots of family movement at 9:00 p.m. in the drizzle outside that came and went, and shrines to the virgin seemed to be on every corner, festooned with flowers. The only real issue I had was that at 5:00 a.m., the TV roared to life with the Mexican national anthem, and I had difficulty getting the thing to shut off. This may be an alarm system, but I didn’t see any reference to it and was not told of it when I asked for a wake-up call.

NO HOT WATER.

I reserved this Hotel for its convenient location in front of the Airport, but, I waked up at 4:00 a.m., in order to go to an early flight but the Hotel had NO HOT water. When I mentioned this in the front desk, they did not say a word. At least I was waiting for an apology. So, I traveled unconfortable.

If you need to stay close tothe airport

We arrived in Mexico City after 9 PM on a Friday and had a flicght out back to the US the following morning @ 6. The shuttle was prompt and the driver was friendly. The trip to the hotel is short and check in was a breeze. We were there for less than 6 hrs. but the shuttle was able to take us back to the airport at 4:15 AM. the room was clean ifa little outdated. After traveling the backcountry of Mexico the shower was great, the bed was comfortable and the tap water was potable! Not a bad deal for the money. Also, the delivered a requested roll-away bed as requested within 10 minutes of us arriving at the room.

One little dissappointment but otherwise thoroughly impressed

The situation was that we had spent 2 months travelling around Mexico. We had limited clothes so we stopped to do laundry whenever we could. For the most part it was very cheap for a full laundry service... a couple of pesos at the most. Well upon arriving at the hotel, our last night in Mexico before getting on a plane back to London we decided to get our laundry done. The bill was a whopping 960 pesos or $96 US, ludicrous! Other than that the hotel was top notch and the service was excellent, if we needed a towel we just called and a minute later someone was at our door.

Great Hotel for Visitors to Mexico-Stay for the Restaurant alone

Upon arrival you notice the security 24/7 Guarded Gate. The Beds are so comfortable and the rooms very clean. The Service is exceptional and the staff is "muy amable" or very helpful and accomodating. Staff understand some English. Hotel will at no charge help you with small needs. Toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Restuarant is exceptional, buffet style gives great variety and very reasonable prices. The gift shop has great values for gifts to take home. Service to and from the Airport is exceptional. One Caution: If you are going through Hotels.com ask for a room closer to the lobby, otherwise they will put you in the back of the hotel and some of these rooms have settlement cracks in the bathroom, etc. We have stayed at this hotel at least six times and it is one of our favorites, despite the cracks.

Great hotel for the money

The Fiesta Inn is convenient to the airport in Mexico City and includes free shuttle service. The hotel as a restaurant with good food, including convenient buffets. The bar is also nice and offers tasty appetizers.The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

It is allright to stay if you don’t expect too much

The hotel is about the average standard. The service is acceptable, and the room is not as clean as the standard level. ALso, the facility in the hotel is kind of old. However, the location is good. It is just right in front of the airport. It is convenience spot.

Good choice

This hotel is a good choice for travelers, near Mexico City’s Benito Juarez airport. The rooms are comfortable, large, and clean. Good wireless internet, nice pool, helpful staff. The restaurant has a daily buffet which offers a wide selection of food, sometimes interesting and sometimes not. Note that there is no space for "tips" on your bill, but this does not mean that tips are included in the prices...you are expected to write in a tip...no problem, but this is not at all obvious as the prices are high enough to have included the tip ("propina") The hotel is secure and relatively quiet, even though so near the airport.. All in all, a good choice.

Frustrated with front desk

When we arrived there was hard anyone waiting at front desk, and we still had to wait ten minutes to be checked in. We were then taken by a very attentive bellboy to a room with two double beds (we requested a king which was confirmed in the reservation you sent us) and the lights didn’t work. The bllboy told us to wait while he cleared up the confusion. He returned 15 minutes later to take us to another room which didn’t have a coffee maker and the bathroom mirror clearly needed replacing. In the morning, the shuttle driver barely talked to us. We obviously made a poor choice, especially since we were very tired with we arrived and had to face poor service, T

Pretty expensive for the condition of the rooms and hotel.

Okay for a quick stay

This works for a quick stay. The food is great. The pool is very cold. The shuttle service to and from the airport is very good. <it is far away from centromexicocity but close to the airport.

Good Transit Hotel

Efficient transfers to hotel from airport gate No.4 where all the hotel transfer people congregate. Excellent breakfast with shuttle to airport bus stations etc. following morning. Recoommend for late arrival.

If travelling on from mexico city you can access places from the airport bus station without going into city bus stations

Great for biz

This is a clean professionally run biz hotel in a central Cancun location. Only 20 min from the airport. Pool, gym, and Margarita bar are special Mexican perks, but make no mistake: It is not a beach front party time, vacation resort. The super fast broadband access is its best feature.
