Quiet and convenient
I read some mixed reviews of this hotel but can’t understand why. Granted, I had booked a room with a king sized bed but some of the complaints were that the rooms were small. My room was quite comfortable but I can’t speak for the smaller rooms. But the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The staff was extemely helpful to us in every way. No being fluent in French we leaned on our hosts to make reservations for dinner, map out and give directions to places we intended to visit, and provide information on the Metro. And the morning we requested an very early wake up call, they brought us coffee/tea to our room. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and would gladly return.
If traveling to Paris in the fall (game season), do seek out the little bistro "Au Petit Marguery". The food, wine, service, and ambiance were a treat and quite reasonably priced.

Perfect Location, excellent service
I was overwhelmed with the outstanding service we received on our one week stay at the Renaissance Vendome. From the desk clerks, concierge, bartender, maid, everyone was professional and helpful. Our room was very quiet and clean. We had a junior suite which was perfect for three of us. The location could not be better for a sight-seeing stay in Paris.
