Great hotel, great location
Royal Ramblas’s minimalist decor was decidely attractive and functional. The hotel was very clean thoroughout including the associated restaurant. We found the staff very accommodating and helpful, offering good suggestions for entertainment and restaurants. The location is great and the restaurant offers great views for people watching. We will absolutely stay there again!

Location, location, location.
Great location, comfortable room, terrific views with windows you could open easily or close up (which took care of any noise) and quiet down your space. Most of the staff were very helpful.
Traveller's tip on dining
The place to go to eat is the La Boqueria - not far down Las Ramblas on the same side as the hotel - both "bars" are fabulous - the razor clams are out of this world! Carrefour is two doors down from the hotel for any goodies you might want for your room including wine and the restaurant The Vienna (right next door) is great spot for a quick snack or drink.

nice hotel for 1 night
we had a twin bed room.. Beds were hard as a rock.. room otherwise quite nice. big bathroom with its own tub. big flat screen tv, too bad there were only 2 english channels to choose from. may use them again if i ever get to barcelona again
