Creaky floors, moldy smell
Excellent reception service. Location very close to Metro. Creaky floor so loud, I was embarrassed to walk around the bed at night! Moldy smell coming from the shower drain. Room small, but adequate.

Customer service lacking
We have been to this hotel 4 times and the reason we return is due to its great location and the comfort and cleanliness is very good. Where it falls down drastically is on their front desk. The reception girl did not even bother to look at us and conducted our check in with her head bent. She has no people skills and I watched her with other guests and she is exactly the same with everybody. This has been a problem with other reception staff on other visits and I think Best Western should do a mystery shopper visit so they can gauge for themselves. We have been to Paris many times and do not need any help from reception but I doubt there would be much help from them. I would recommend this hotel but only for its location and comfort.
