Very nice. Good location.
Very comfortable, pleasant staff, clean room and good location. I’ve read some reviews that complained about street noise but our room was very quiet (4th floor, even numbers). Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, restaurants on the Royal mile; Parliament and Holyrood Palace almost around the corner, but keep in mind Edinburgh is quite hilly. Would definitely stay there again.
If you’re not driving, best bet from the airport is to take the airport bus to Waverley train station and a short cab ride from there to the hotel.

Hotel in the old town near the Scottish Parliament
Great location near Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament. Staff very friendly and the room had a view of the Parliament building. Gym and pool in the basement. Car parking very expensive, (compared to Glasgow) but that seems to be an Edinburgh thing.

’not impressed’
arrived late, room not ready, smell of smoke in bedroom, shower changed temp hot to scalding. Couldn’t view antique telly from bed!
