Good location
Had two rooms in the extension at the back of the hotel - rooms (and bathrooms) in this newer part of the hotel are large although simply furnished. Arrived by car - the small hotel car park was full and the car had to be left in a nearby public car park (free after 6pm). Hotel is in a great location in the middle of Interlaken. Plenty of adequate restaurants nearby. Hotel is used by coach tour groups, so the restaurant gets busy when the groups have breakfast before their scheduled departure. Overall the hotel was pleasant enough, but I expected a bit better at the price.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Expensive but worth it - the helicopter flight from nearby Lauterbrunnen onto a glacier behind the Jungfrau was fantastic.

disappointed..
old rooms, mouldy shower curtain, poor ventilation, empty minibar, not enough curtains on the window- was asked to use the window shutter which was quite cumbersome not something expected out of a standard room.

Solid if unspectacular
This hotel was a fairly standard European hotel. Relatively small room (although bigger than other places I’ve stayed in Europe) with twin beds and basic amenities. The location is great, right in the center of Interlaken, with easy access to the train station, restaurants, bars, and shopping. If you drive, which I did, the parking lot is small and seems like it could run out of space, but is free and close by. Overall, if you don’t plan on spending much time in your room this hotel should be a good choice.
