Out of the Way
A car is a necessity if staying at this hotel. The only convenient public transportation is heavy rail to Berlin 500 meters away. The S-Bahn is nearly two kilometers away through heavy traffic patterns. Not convenient for sightseeing either Potsdam or Berlin. The breakfast, not included for Hotels.com reservations, was overpriced (13.50 Euros) for the quality/quantity provided. Rooms can best be described as Spartan. Probably a good hotel for budget-minded backpackers. The hotel is hard to find as it is situated among several large office buildings behind a high wall. Without my GPS, we might not have found it.

Great room for the money
We enjoyed our stay.The restaurant next door was convenient with good food and service. Also, the breakfast was good with very accomodating service.

Pretty good...
On the good side: - The room was always very clean - The food was very nice and a good portion size - Train line direct to Berlin and high speed train into centre of Potsdam is a 2 minute walk down the main road - There is a tram stop right outside the entrance gate of the hotel - Walking distance to Sanssouci Park On the bad side: - Internet access seemed expensive (It is not included in the booking price!) - Some Receptionists were not friendly
