Great hotel in Cape Town
When planning a trip to Cape Town we looked at several smaller hotels on internet but found the reviews very variable so being concerned with what we would get there we decided to go for a ’big’ name. It was a little more expensive for the package but well worth it. Hotel is well situated close to the famous V&A waterfront but not actually there so was nicely quiet. It had its own ocean side location with magnificent surf that could be viewed from a large patio area where one could eat and drink as well. The V&A waterfront was an easy 10 minute (or less) walk away and the hotel also ran a complimentary shuttle service every hour. Staff were very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Would definitely go there again. Only gripe was that even as resident I had to pay for parking but like a lot in South Africa this was inexpensive and not an issue in practice.

Outstanding Service and Location
This was our first trip to Cape Town. The Radisson is in a terrific location on the Waterfront, with a free shuttle to the nearby mall. Our standard room was quite large by American standards, with an extremely comfortable bed. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and always trying to please. This was one of our best hotel stays anywhere in the world.

Good waterfront location
Good waterfront location near the Victora and Albert pier area. Across from the new stadium for the World Cup.
