Cracking value for money
The San Gil was one of the cheapest options when we searched for a hotel in Seville - quite why I dont know as its a delightful find. Exceptionally clean, well maintained and decent staff, pretty courtyard, sizeable roof garden and pool what more do you need? A few people have said that the distance from the hotel to the main attractions detracts from the holiday - I completely disagree. Indeed the pleasant (30 min) walk to the centre added to the experience. Its very possible to take a hundred different routes and consequently get to know the city as well as possible. One complaint - AC was ineffective in the room. Not really a massive issue in October (although still boiling outside) but would be unbearable in Jul/Aug/Sep. Highly recommended.
Traveller's tip on dining
If you take the direct route to the city, you will probably pass "El Rinconcillos" tapas/bar. Great vibe and highly authentic, dont miss it!

Good Hotel - 15 minit bus ride from center
The San Gil looks little from the street but is a pleasant surprise on entry, staff are friendly and helpful. The location of the Hotel means a Bus trip to the centre and back (C4 circular Bus)but other than this no complaints and would stay here again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Would only recommend a two night stay in Seville as you can see the main sights easily in this time, the Cathedral is the 3rd largest in the world but if you have been to St Peters in Rome or St Pauls in London you may find it disappointing.
