We had a fun first Johannesburg experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. We had Great service and enjoyed staying inside a theme park. The included breakfast was delicious. We paid extra for the Jozi historical gold mine tour and were glad we did. Going down in the gold mine and later up on the large Ferris wheel were both highlights for us.
Traveller's tip
There were many shops within the park. The Native/Traditional craft store had lots of interesting items. You get a good view of Johannesburg from the top of the ferris wheel

Standard Rooms Need Renovating
I stayed in a standard room and it needed to be renovated. The hotel tries to stick with a victorian look but I think it can still have a victorian style with modern facilities. I hope that they will renovate soon.
