We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff were most helpful and friendly. Its a shame the smokers gather around the entrance, which means you have to run a gauntlet at times, there are plenty of ash trays, but folk still insist on throwing their buts on the floor. The pool could have been warmer but otherwise all was well. A very handy location to enjoy all that Cardiff has to offer. We will call again.

Definitely recommend this hotel
Excellent 4 star hotel for the price. Spacious room that has the spare pillows in the room without having to ask !! Breakfast choice varied and enjoyable but "boxed" cereals a little bland. Easy travelling distance to city centre. Will definitely stay again.

Nice out of town base for cardiff
Just wanted a place for one night dropping daughter off at cardiff without being in city centre, city hotels tend to be ugh! Couldnt fault service, breakfast ,room (except broken loo roll holder) having pre booked on line was pleasantly surprised to find we paid less than half price for double and breakfast, than what was on the tariff at the hotel. Situated in own small grounds in the middle of ’lake’ ignore in the near distance, Pizza hut, carpet right etc! ideal base for cardiff without being in the middle of it.
