central location would stay there again, good value but expensive breakfast
Lovely hotel on main square in business area. Nice modern room with lovely bathroom. We were accomodation only, which was a good price, breakfast expensive but lots of places nearby to eat. Open top guide bus stops nearby and close to Brandenburg Gate and lots of nice shops. U bahn station outside main door. Travelled with group of girls and hotel was ideal. Staff excellent. Good choice.

We bought a welcome card for travel on the Ubahn. City is large and attractions are spread out.

Great Central Location
A great hotel! The location, only a kilometre from the brandenburg gate and with a U-bahn station right outside couldn’t be much better. The staff were friendly and very helpful allowing us to use the health centre to shower after the marathon even though we had already checked out.

Just the right location
The hotel is on a very important square in what was east Berlin. It has the English and french cathedrals and is surrounded by restuarants and bars. A U-bahn just a few seconds asway and good bus connections. Very easy to walk to many attractions- Checkpoint Charlie;Brandenburg Gate;remains of the wall;Potsdam Platz
Traveller's tip on local attractions
It is well worth going up the Television mast on Alexandra Platz, have either a breakfast as we did or dinner. The restaurant revolves, plenty of time to relax and see the vistas. If you book dinner you do not have to wait for a timed ticket. If it is your thing, by the remains of the wall there is a free exhibition of what was happening in Germany during the war. Walk in the glass dome on the Reichstag (nr Brandeburg Gate). May be a wait,closes at 10pm Free.
